Confirmed - The Hulk vs Big Sexy Set for AFC4 (Plus More News!)

Well, for those of you who read MMAVictor daily you know this is old news as I broke this story last week - proof. Anyway, the world now knows what all of you did earlier that AFC Heavyweight Champion and MMAVictor.com sponsored fighter Soa “The Hulk” Palelei will be defending his title at AFC4 on December 7th against former UFC veteran Sean McCorkle live on PPV from Melbourne, Australia.

Now, what was the big hold up since last week? Well, McCorkle didn’t return the contract to the AFC until this weekend. Thankfully, we didn’t have another OneFC moment as some were worried. Plus, at this point it is safe to say that this is a “win and possibly back in the UFC” clash that is going to be an absolute war! Thankfully, MMAVictor is here for it all and don’t forget to check back here for even more news. Kind of like this one:

We have also confirmed that Mr. Inspiration himself Mark Russell will be in the corner of The Hulk for this epic matchup. So thanks to Mark, we are going to get an even closer look inside The Hulk, the training camp, the matchup and everything in-between leading up to after this AFC4 contest.

On a side note, I also had the luxury of catching up with Mark this morning and I asked him one simple question:

Pete - How does it feel to know that you will be cornering The Hulk?

Mark - I have followed Soa since 2002. My passion for fighting goes back to watching the great Sam Greco. I was fortunate enough to be ringside at AFC 3 in April this year to watch Soa beat Joe Keilur and witness Sam Greco present Soa with the belt. This time at AFC 4 Dec 7 I will be in Soa’s corner, a dream come true and a true honor.
